Founded on Bermuda Day 2013 by Rebecca Singleton, TABS (an acronym for The Authentic Bermuda Short) has become synonymous with Bermuda’s dress culture, specifically wedding attire. “No wedding in Bermuda would be complete without Bermuda shorts!” says Singleton. Indeed, TABS offers a range of products and services ideal for the groom and his groomsmen, including traditional cotton and linen blend Bermuda shorts, pocket squares, knee socks and belts. The brand also offers couples a free colour-match consultation as well as tailoring, custom embroidery and gift wrapping. For those looking for a personal touch, TABS offers custom embroidery, allowing a bride to surprise her groom with a secret message inside the shorts or a groom to leave a funny note for his groomsmen. “We appreciate how important the details are,” says Singleton. “We work closely with each of our
clients to give them a unique wedding ensemble…the only downside is people may talk more about the shorts than the dress!”
