For almost 100 years, couples from home and abroad have said “I do” at Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa, a property with as much celebrated history as picturesque acreage. Indeed, if the popular resort’s A-list clientele (read: noteworthy authors, celebrities and powerful world leaders) is proof of anything, it’s that the hotel’s beautiful surroundings are only outdone by its staff’s attention to detail and exemplary service.
Engaged couples looking to wed at the 30-acre, 300-year-old property have various and diverse settings to pick from, including the white sands of Long Bay, the lush and lavish Sea View Gardens, and the waterside Breezes restaurant. In the event of inclement weather, contingency space is always available, as is tenting, which the resort can arrange on request.
Cambridge Beaches is a child-free resort, however there are venues on the property where children are allowed, such as Breezes restaurant, Long Bay Beach, Sea View Gardens and (at times) Tamarisk restaurant—the only stipulation being that the location must be bought out for the day, which will prevent resort guest access and allow for wedding parties to enjoy the venue with children in attendance.
The experienced staff at Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa are well-versed in the artistry required to to deliver the perfect wedding, no matter the size. On a regular basis, the resort hosts both intimate weddings (of 10 people or fewer) and ceremonies and receptions of up to 160 people.
Specifically, newly wedded couples are able to host up to 250 guests for a standing cocktail reception and up to 160 guests for a more formal sit-down dinner, the catering options for which are extensive and include everything from a banquet buffet to sushi to brunch. The staff at Cambridge Beaches make it a rule to host only one wedding per day at the famed resort. This way, they ensure that their focus is solely on the couple getting married and the couple’s wedding guests. To that effect, it is recommended that couples wishing to wed at Cambridge Beaches book as early as possible to ensure that their preferred date is available.
